Our goal is for students to complete classes designed for them to earn a well-rounded education as well as explore different subjects to help them choose a career path after graduation. Classes include Personal Finance, Entrepreneurship, Criminal Justice, Leadership, Psychology, Marketing, etc.

Online High School & College Experts
We're experts in online high school and helping parents homeschool high school. Whether you're brand new or a veteran, our innovative approach to education allows your student to earn a quality education that focuses on learning to mastery instead of busywork. Students can choose the high school path or the high school with college path that allows them to earn a Bachelor's Degree.
We partner with the university your student will graduate from, so every class mapped out is approved before your student takes them. Students who earn dual enrollment credits outside of Smarter by 1 Degree are collecting credits without knowing how they will transfer and be accepted at a four year university. This leads to disappointment, wasted time, and wasted money.

We're a degree completion program where families have a peace of mind because we choose the universities first, and then we work backwards to plan every detail for your student. You don't have to worry about whether a graduate school will accept these credits, your student will be transferring an accredited bachelor degree and can attend graduate school.

Lessons are focused on learning to mastery instead of busywork, and were created for visual and auditory learners which make up 95% of all learners. Maps, graphs, pictures, and illustrations make difficult concepts come alive so they're easy to understand and remember.
High School On Your Terms
Smarter by 1 Degree is an online program that allows students the freedom to do schoolwork anytime, anywhere. We focus on learning to mastery instead of busywork which allows students to complete their studies while still having plenty of time to explore interests, skills, and extracurricular activities.
Dual Credit vs. Dual Enrollment
Dual Enrollment is when your student is enrolled in a university and completing their classes. These classes have busywork, deadlines, and due dates which can be stressful. Dual credit is when your student earns alternative credits which specific universities accept towards accredited degrees. We specialize in helping students complete flex-paced classes focused on learning to mastery instead of busywork through university agreements. We don't collect credits at Smarter by 1 Degree.

We'll plan high school and college for your student so they can get ahead in life without being buried in student loans.
